The life of a Military Spouse is truly a labor of love. This book was 5 years in the making.. Curated from driving an hour to see clients in their home on the dark roads in country ol Mmississippi. My thought was “wow, I just want to tell you (spouses) about this journey-this can’t be my life.” From my journey of feeling defeated, that nothing would work out in my favor, grief, transfer depression, and all. Through it all, I never gave up. I pushed through, cried, you name it! If you are a spouse, I am sure this has been your journey too!
However, this is not all about me. Which is why adding other spouses was imperative. You will read the journeys of Shekendra, Tajh and Leah. They are wives who struggled and overcame, lost jobs, married and remarried, balancing multiple deployments like you, PTSD and all. Life of A Military Spouse is a sisterhood motivation piece.
